John Randolph Medical Center Announces Essay Contest Winners

(HOPEWELL, VA) June 27, 2008 – John Randolph Medical Center recently announced the winners of its “Our Family Taking Care of Yours” essay contest. Sarah Pershing, a rising junior at Hopewell High School, and Kevin Dawkins, a rising 8th grader at Manchester Middle School, were named as winners out of a field of more than 32 entrants. Pershing and Dawkins will each receive a $250 savings bond. The essay was based on the hospital’s mission, “Our Family Taking Care of Yours."
